Samurai doll. Typical features and pose of the helper of a high ranking samurai. This fun doll with happy face wears a nice green silk brocade kimono under is lacquered armour. His wood craved face and hands are covered with gofun (oyster shell paste) his feet are covered with painted silk and he wears straw waraji (straw sandals). On his shoulders hangs a fire mans cap.
